Writing & Rhetoric Assessment
The W&R Assessment Committee is a standing committee with the goal of providing ongoing support for departmental assessment initiative that will improve our writing and speech instruction at the program and curricular level.
In Spring 2014, the Assessment Committee completed the final assessment project related to the 2009 Quality Enhancement Plan. The results of this assessment, which was based on a forced-choice review of Writing 102 Research Papers over the last several years, shows a general positive trend in all outcomes. The graph and table below shows the final results of the Writing 102 assessment project.
